What’s Happening:

Has America forgotten Trump yet? Doesn’t seem to look that way.

Even the media will be begging for Trump news—as their ratings and clicks dwindle.

But Democrats in D.C. are determined to erase any traces of Trump’s administration. They’ve gone so far as to push legislation to ban the naming of federal property after him.

We even saw them try to “cancel” celebrities for being conservative. And attack senators who stood by him.

But one Southern red state is not about to give up on Trump.

From The Hill:

The Alabama Republican Party will honor former President Trump for being “one of the greatest and most effective presidents in the 245-year history of this Republic,”…

“The resolution, basically, it just talks about the greatness of Donald J. Trump, how he made America great again and I hope other states will follow suit,” Perry Hooper Jr., a former state representative and a member of the state party’s executive committee, told Fox News.

Republicans from Alabama’s state party will be honoring Trump as one of the greatest and “most effective” presidents in our history.

They will present him with a framed resolution during a celebration at Mar-a-Largo.

The leader of the party hoped that other states would follow suit. We can imagine several red states finding ways to honor Trump in a similar fashion.

Since he left D.C., Democrats have waged a war to eradicate Trump’s influence from our culture, government, and politics. They even seem to think that we’d forget him after only a few months.

But their biggest attempt to do so failed: their second bogus impeachment.

And it’s almost a certainty that their attempt to ban property being named after him will backfire. Red states will find ways to honor Trump.

Be it with a plaque, celebration, monument, statue, or highway, many Americans will want to honor and thank Donald Trump.

After just one term in office, he made a lasting impact on this country. And it’s an impact that won’t be forgotten any time soon.

This also shows us that Americans aren’t ready to say goodbye to Trump just yet. What will they be saying in 4 years?

Key Takeaways:

  • The Alabama Republican Party will be honoring Trump as one of the “greatest” presidents.
  • They will present him with a framed resolution at a dinner at Mar-a-Largo.
  • This comes as Democrats in D.C. try to erase his legacy.
