Snooze, you lose—and blue states just lost big to red states.
Blue states have been pushing liberal policies, and what has happened as a result? People are fleeing in big numbers.
They were warned for years the impact this would have on them, but they ignored the coming red wave until it was too late.
And now the numbers are in. From Fox News:
The U.S. Census Bureau on Monday announced that six states, mostly in the South and Mountain regions, would gain seats in the U.S. House of Representatives based on updated population data results, while seven states were set to lose one seat apiece.
Texas will gain two seats, the most out of any U.S. state. Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon each gained one seat.
On the other hand, seven states, including California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, were set to lose one seat in the chamber each.
That’s devastating for blue states, and could soon tip the balance of power in Congress in 2022.
The big blue states of California and New York actually lost people over the last decade, meaning more people moved out than moved in.
Texas, on the other hand, has been seeing a huge influx.
And red state Republicans have made it clear: if you’re going to move to our state, leave your politics behind in the ruined state you came from.
Trump responded with:
“There is strength in unity and America is a great example of it to the countries across the world. In the need of the hour, each patriot has sacrificed their needs to help out a fellow citizen.”
However, hope can be lost in the darkest times, and the American people need something to unify them in such times of adversity. The fight is not over yet, says President Trump.
