What’s Happening:

In only four short years, Trump has scored one victory after another. But perhaps his biggest accomplishments have been in reshaping our federal courts.

His victories in appointing judges will be felt for decades to come. Once upon a time, Democrats forced their agenda through the courts, as liberal activist judges rubber-stamped their radical demands.

Not anymore.

And Trump has once again scored a victory, just in the last week. From Fox News:

President Trump continued to add to his tally of successful judicial appointments Tuesday with the confirmation of Thomas Kirsch II as a judge on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Kirsch, who had served as the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Indiana, is filling the position that was left vacant when Justice Amy Coney Barrett left the Seventh Circuit to join the Supreme Court…

Kirsch is the 54th judge Trump has appointed who was confirmed to a federal court of appeals and 230th federal judge overall, with more likely to follow.

Trump’s pick to replace Amy Coney Barrett’s vacated seat on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals was just confirmed.

That is his 54th judge put onto the federal court of appeals. He has to date gotten 230 of his picks onto federal courts.

That’s a record, no matter how you slice it.

And that doesn’t even factor in his three Supreme Court appointments. While that is huge in and of itself, many cases are decided by lower courts and circuit courts.

For Trump to have so many judges serving shows just how much he’s changed the court system. His work has transformed once liberal courts to balanced courts, in some cases conservative courts.

This will be a bulwark against radical progressivism for years to come. Even as Democrats at the state and federal level try to force their agenda, these judges will be able to block them.

Moan all they want, these Democrats won’t be able to do anything about it.
