Remember when candidate Joe Biden said he wouldn’t abuse the power of the President? That he would be a moderate, transitional President that would unite Americans?
Today Joe is showing he’s just a swamp politician who said whatever he needed to get elected.
How do we know this? Because he’s planning to ram one of the most controversial bills in the last 40 years through Congress with the barest majority, with no debate.
That’s right, he plans to use a 50-50 reconciliation bill to jam through something that has nothing to do with budget reconciliation. From Breitbart:
President Joe Biden told Hispanic members of Congress on Tuesday he supported the idea of moving legislation on immigration reform using budget reconciliation and a simple Democrat majority.
America, we live in a Constitutional Republic. But Joe Biden, who has sworn to uphold the Constitution, has pulled off the mask and revealed that he wants to rule by raw majority power.
In the House, they only hold a very slight majority, and in the Senate it is 50-50 with VP Harris breaking ties.
But all of a sudden, “moderate” Biden wants to jam through as much transformational legislation as possible, as fast as he can. He wants to use a rarely used budget reconciliation rule to push through radical policy changes that would flood our nation at the border.
Why the change? Well, for one thing, they can’t effectively legislate their policies from the Supreme Court bench right now. To do that they would need to blow up the filibuster and pack the court, which many Democrats are intent on doing soon.
Also, Biden seems to have been convinced all of a sudden that he needs to leave a historic mark on America. The kind of mark Obama failed to make, with all his talk about hope and change.
Why did Obama fail? Because he mostly played by the rules. Sure, his FBI spied on his political enemies, and they used reconciliation to jam through Obamacare, but that’s childplay compared to Biden.
The Democrats now are planning to add states to the union to cement their power. They plan to kill the filibuster so they pack the court and pass radical legislation such as amnesty, the Green New Deal, reparations, and multi-trillion dollar spending deals and tax raises.
Folks, elections have consequences. No matter what really happened in 2020, the same can’t happen again in 2022, or this nation will quickly slide off a cliff. Democrats will break all the rules to guarantee they stay in power forever.
And America is bound to not last long under their rule.
