What’s Happening:
Confusion and debate spread across D.C. as Democrats jumped the gun with their bill to pack the Supreme Court.
(Or “unpack” it, as Jerry Nadler said, whatever that means.)
Many are calling it the most brazen power grabs in the history of our country. Even Pelosi came out saying she would not move the bill to the floor or consider a vote.
But Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is warning the American people. Don’t trust Nance.

“Do not believe Nancy Pelosi when she says she will not move it,” McCarthy said, “Remember that’s what she said about impeachment before she moved impeachment twice.
After Democrats in the House introduced a bill to expand the Supreme Court, Pelosi said she would not move it forward, yet.
McCarthy is warning Americans that we cannot take Pelosi at her word. The woman once promised she would support impeaching Donald Trump. But she gladly did so, twice.
The minority leader claims Pelosi has “surrendered” to the radical wing of her party. She has bowed to them many times before, there is no reason to think she won’t do it again.
Already we see Pelosi considering the idea. She claims that our country is so big we need more judges.
That logic really doesn’t make sense. But it’s a sign she will probably support court-packing soon enough.
We all know that adding justices to the court is just a way for Democrats to give themselves a liberal majority.
It is a pathetic ruse to take over all three branches of the federal government. The idea that there should be checks and balances would go out the window, as a radical SCOTUS would just support whatever Congress and Biden do.
Even Democrats, from unexpected corners, have opposed the idea. Bernie Sanders warned that if they go down that road, Republicans will do the same next time around.
Even RBG and Justice Breyer were against it.
The only thing standing in the way of Democrats destroying the integrity of our court are the Republicans in the Senate.
