Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson opened his show on Thursday night by absolutely torching Joe Biden and his new executive actions on gun control.
After Biden announced new executive plans for nationwide gun control measures, Carlson argued that Democrats “are not trying to control guns, they’re trying to control you.”
Carlson asserted that “almost nothing” in Biden’s speech was true and accused him of intentionally trying to mislead the American public.
“Gun control is not about guns. Gun control is about who controls America,” he said.
“The Biden administration is using the full force of government to disarm peaceful voters who voted for Donald Trump. It is that simple,” he added.
“We often accuse politicians of dishonesty on the show. Let us boil it down. Nothing the Democratic Party advocates for is more dishonest than gun control. Everything is false.
‘Gun control is entirely fraudulent. The Democratic Party claims that guns cause violence. That is a core claim and it is a lie. The places in this country that have the most guns and the loosest controls on those guns also have the least gun violence. That is the bottom line. You can look it up.” Tucker argued.
He continued: “Anyone who tries to restrict to legally-owned firearms is not trying to make America safer. The point is to disarm you, to strip you of your autonomy on your right to self-defense.”
Carlson then really dropped the hammer.
“With a single stroke of a pen, Joe Biden just turned tens of millions of overwhelmingly Republican voters into criminals. Is the starting to make sense now?” he asked.
“Arrest people before they commit crimes? That is a brand-new concept in American law that the Chinese are highly familiar with,” Carlson said.
He also pointed out that Biden’s son Hunter allegedly lied on a background check when buying a gun in 2018.

Speaking in the Rose Garden with Kamala Harris and a slew of anti-gun activists and Democrats, Biden said his measures are meant to “confront not just the gun crisis but what is actually a public health crisis.”
Among his actions:
–The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”
–The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.
–The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states: Red flag laws allow family members or law enforcement to petition for a court order temporarily barring people in crisis from accessing firearms if they present a danger to themselves or others.
–The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions.
–The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking.
–Biden will nominate David Chipman to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
Biden also made one disturbing statement proving that he is coming for law-abiding citizens firearms.
“But no amendment to the Constitution is absolute,” he claimed, which differs substantially from what legitimate constitutional experts will tell you.
