What’s Happening:

With Biden running amuck in D.C., it’s up to conservative states to protect our freedoms and values.

Texas has been leading the charge, launching initiatives against Biden’s bogus decisions.

They had already sued Biden over his move to freeze deportations of dangerous criminals. But they are far from done.

Because the state AG has just dropped another lawsuit on Biden.

From The Hill:

The state of Texas sued the Biden administration Tuesday seeking to reinstate a Trump-era policy that forced migrants arriving at the southern border to wait in Mexico while applying for asylum…

Texas’s case argues the Biden administration violated the Administrative Procedures Act, with the federal government failing to sufficiently consult with the state before implementing a new plan.

Texas is suing the Biden administration over its ending of the Migrant Protection Protocols, or the Remain in Mexico policy.

This rule required migrants to remain in Mexico as the U.S. decides their asylum claims. Whenever someone is caught trying to jump the border, they often suddenly claim asylum.

Thanks to our broken immigration laws, instead of deporting the defender, we have to process their claims.

Trump required migrants to wait in Mexico, to discourage frivolous asylum claims and to ensure a border jumper isn’t rewarded with a one-way ticket into America.

By killing Trump’s MPP, Biden has restored Obama’s terrible “catch-and-release” policy. The government apprehends those jumping the border, gives them a court date for their claim, then lets them go into the country.

Guess where they end up first? Texas, of course. The Lone Star State is forced to deal with the brunt of Biden’s toxic policy.

Texas residents have to deal with a massive influx of migrants, some of which are not interested in obeying our laws.

Texas is suing Biden, because his administration did not consult with states when they killed the MPP. Nor did they consider the impact “catch-and-release” would have on the country.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Texas state AG is suing the Biden administration over ending Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy.
  • The policy worked to discourage a surge of migrants at the border.
  • Texas argues that Biden did not consult with the states, nor considered the impact of such a move.
