A group of House Republicans are demanding a meeting with Kamala Harris to discuss the U.S.-Mexico border crisis.

In an open letter published on Twitter, Republican Reps. Jim Jordan, John Katko, and James Comer requested this meeting so that they could clarify the Biden-Harris Administration’s position on the matter, and whether they have a solution at all.

“President Joe Biden delegated the Administration’s response to the humanitarian and security crisis at the southern border to you. However, it is unclear what, if any, actions you have directed or plan to initiate to respond to the crisis that continues to worsen every day,” the lawmakers wrote.

“We request the opportunity to meet with you as soon as possible,” they added

“The situation at the southern border is a crisis,” they continued. “Your characterization of it as a ‘huge problem’ is an understatement.”

In their final paragraph, the three representatives wrote, rather tersely, that “the crisis at the southern border is a creation of the radical policies of the Biden-Harris administration.”

Biden announced on March 24 that Harris would lead the administration’s efforts at the border, and she has not visited one time to even hold a press event on the crisis.

And, just to be clear, NBC News published a report on March 24 titled: “Biden tasks Harris with ‘stemming the migration’ on southern border.”

Harris is 100% appointed to “handle” the border crisis and she has not visited the border one time since Biden named her.

And, making matters worse, she has refused to visit the border or hold a single press conference about the crisis.

Harris said on Wednesday that she will travel to Guatemala and Mexico as part of her role in tackling the “root causes” of the migration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico southern border.

She’s not traveling to America’s southern border, but rather to Guatemala and Mexico.

What sense does that make?

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich took aim at Harris over her lack of doing anything after being appointed by Joe Biden to address the border crisis.

During an interview on Fox Business, Brnovich said Harris has failed to respond to his invitation to tour the crisis at the US-Mexico border.

“I guess if you were a philosopher you would say no response is a very loud response because we’ve not received any response,” Brnovich said.

Harris needs to “look into the eyes of people being smuggled across the border, being exploited by the cartels and realize this is a humanitarian crisis on so many levels,” Brnovich said.

Days after Biden appointed Harris to oversee his administration’s border responses, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican, called her “the worst possible choice.”

He accused Harris of being someone who has “completely trivialized the issue by putting someone in charge who flat out just doesn’t care.”

Also, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, predicted that Harris “is not going to be able to solve this crisis” after he and 17 other GOP senators visited the border in his home state, adding that the migrant crisis has become Biden’s “biggest political mess.”

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says the only reason that Harris was put in charge of the border crisis was because everyone knows “she wouldn’t do anything” about it.”
