Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is not backing down from her attempt to debate New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Greene took to Twitter late Wednesday to continue her push for a debate Ocasio-Cortez over the contentious Green New Deal.

The Greene tweet included a photo of the pair on the House floor.

“I’m glad I ran into you today @AOC to plan our debate about the Green New Deal,” the Georgia Republican posted. “After I finish reading all 14 pages, like we agreed, I’ll schedule time for our debate.”

Greene has been trying to debate Ocasio-Cortez for a while.

Last week, Greene highlighted her business background as an owner of a construction company for two decades.

She compared her resume to Ocasio-Cortez’s “degree in economics.”

“@AOC I’d like to challenge you to a debate on the Green New Deal economic policy. Since you sponsored the Green New Deal and have a degree in Economics, I’m sure you are more than qualified,” Greene tweeted.

“I just have a degree in Business Admin and have owned a construction company for 20 years. A debate between AOC and I on the Green New Deal economic policy would be informative for the American People. They deserve to hear the two sides with pro’s and cons,” Greene wrote in a second tweet.

She added in a third tweet: “@AOC you can choose one moderator and I choose a moderator. Then we can negotiate a major news network to host the debate. Let’s do this for The People. What do you say?”

Bloomberg Opinion writer Noah Smith, which came out to $6.6 trillion every year — has been roughly the same as the American Action Forum’s figure.

The president of the American Action Forum and a co-author of the analysis, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, defended the estimate but acknowledged that using the $93 trillion figure by itself was not ideal.

“The figure’s not wrong, but it’s incomplete,” he said, adding that in a perfect world, people would give ranges and convey uncertainty. Holtz-Eakin is a former director of the Congressional Budget Office and was John McCain’s chief economic adviser during the 2008 presidential campaign.

A better numerical summary of the findings, Holtz-Eakin said, would be $50 trillion to $90 trillion, with some mention of the nuances in the report.

Back in late 2019, Ocasio-Cortez said her plan would cost at least $10 trillion.

“I think we really need to get to $10 trillion to have a shot,” the freshman lawmaker told The Hill on Wednesday, adding, “I know it’s a ton. I don’t think anyone wants to spend that amount of money, it’s not a fun number to say, I’m not excited to say we need to spend $10 trillion on climate, but … it’s just the fact of the scenario.”

A study released in 2019 by The Competitive Enterprise Institute and Power the Future found that the average American household in Florida, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania would be on the hook for more than $70,000 during the first year the Green New Deal was implemented.

After the first year, families in these states would likely be required to pay about $45,000 for the next four years and more than $37,000 from there on out.

Families in Alaska, however, would face even higher costs. During the first year, residents would pay more than $100,000 – followed by $73,000 for the following four years and more than $67,000 after that.

Trump responded with:
“There is strength in unity and America is a great example of it to the countries across the world. In the need of the hour, each patriot has sacrificed their needs to help out a fellow citizen.”

However, hope can be lost in the darkest times, and the American people need something to unify them in such times of adversity. The fight is not over yet, says President Trump.

This coin is a medium through which all citizens can be reminded that there is light at the end of the tunnel and America under the competent leadership of Donald Trump, there is no challenge America cannot overcome.

President Trump’s victory coin is unsurprisingly on course to become the most popular Presidential coin in the history of our great country, and the liberals just can’t deal with this.

The President is now calling on his loyal supporters to aid him in the battle against the dangerous democrat party. He needs all of us to show our support for the movement that is making America great again.

So he’s giving away a limited number of his exclusive victory coin for FREE, but not for long.

As you can imagine, these coins are hot property and it’s impossible to know how many are left. So you need to act fast.
