Mike Pence attended a private event in Texas, alongside other Republicans some considered 2024 contenders. They include Mike Pompeo, Ron DeSantis, and Chris Christie.
He also stopped in South Carolina and will be heading to New Hampshire.
Both South Carolina and New Hampshire are two early primary states. Someone running for president needs their support. So, visiting those states frequently, even as early as this year, would be a wise idea.
Does that mean Mike Pence is planning a presidential run?
The evidence seems to be stacking up. He joined the Heritage Foundation, a respected conservative organization, with the aim to promote conservative views.
He started his own political group to protect the America First policies of the Trump administration.
And how he’s popping up in states that are key to early primary success.
All that we are lacking is a formal announcement, which might come in a matter of months.
Donald Trump has yet to announce his intentions on running again, though many expect an announcement eventually.
