Protestors gathered in Howell, Michigan with flags and signs ahead of 78-year-old Joe Biden visiting a union training facility to discuss his alleged economic agenda.
“On Tuesday, October 5, the President will travel to Howell, Michigan to continue rallying public support for his bipartisan infrastructure bill and Build Back Better agenda, which will grow our economy by investing in working families, paid for by repealing tax giveaways to the rich,” the White House said in a statement on Sunday.
Joe Biden, ahead of his visit to Michigan on Tuesday, claimed his agenda will “grow our economy and make our country more competitive”:
I’m heading to Michigan today to visit a union training facility and discuss the need for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and my Build Back Better Agenda. This is our moment to grow our economy and make our country more competitive by investing in working families.
