Joe Biden remains adamant that his son Hunter Biden not only has done nothing wrong in his sketchy overseas business dealings with a Chinese energy firm, but also that he knew nothing about it and never discussed business with his son. One might logically ask; how can the elder Biden be “confident” his son did nothing wrong while at the same time have zero information because they never spoke about it?
Regardless, none of it is true. Emails, and now texts, have emerged which highly insinuate Joe Biden was not only aware of Hunter’s actions, but was also personally involved. Fox News obtained text messages that “came during what appeared to be a critical time in the organization of the joint-venture – between Hunter and Jim Biden and their associates, Gilliar, Bobulinski and Rob Walker. The venture, called Sinohawk Holdings, was meant to be a partnership with Chinese energy firm CEFC.”
Although the texts do not explicitly explain how the men wanted to have Joe Biden involved, he is mentioned frequently. In the text correspondence between Gilliar and Bobulinski in April 0f 2017, Bobulinski asked Gilliar about Joe’s brother: “what is the deal w Jim Biden as he wasn’t part of the discussion but now seems a focal point.” Gilliar replied referencing the negative connotation associated with Hunter Biden, referring to him as ‘H:’ “With H demons, could be good to have a back up, he strengthens our USP to Chinese as it looks like a truly family business, and I like the dude.”
In May of 2017, Gilliar wrote, “Man U are right let’s get the company set up, then tell H and family the high stakes and get Joe involved.” When discussing a meeting with high-level CEFC executives and the chairman, Gilliar asked Bobulinski to come up with an “a lister to meet chairman Sunday.” Specifically, a “top person at same level as chairman, who would like to access China or money…it’s the way it works culturally for them…and empowers the B family so therefore us.”
The next day, Gilliar texted “Think Joe may come Sunday. I’m hoping.” Bobulinski responded, “Yah I told Jim [Biden] that’s a no brainer if he can make it he should be there.” So, is Joe Biden actually claiming he never knew about a meeting in 2017 that he was potentially showing up for? That’s what the Biden camp would like us to believe.
On May 20, 2017, Gilliar texted Bobulinski again about Joe, stating, “Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face, I know u know but they are paranoid.” In October, Fox News exclusively reported that Bobulinski did in fact meet with Joe Biden in early May of 2017. Only days later, Gilliar sent an email discussing “renumeration packages” for members involved. “Hunter [Biden] has some office expectations he will elaborate” the email stated. A proposed equity split was also in the email: “20 for ‘H’ and ’10 held by H for the big guy?” Bobulinski has gone on record confirming the “big guy” is Joe Biden.
