What’s Happening:

Biden claimed he would be a moderate president. That he would lead both the red and blue states.

But that hasn’t been the case in his first two months of office. Perhaps other people are pulling the strings in the White House.

That must be true of the real winners Biden keeps nominating to his cabinet. These left-wing activists have tarnished records that call into question their ability to lead.

One was so radical, both Democrats and Republicans rejected her nomination. Well, we can add another one to the list.

From Fox News:

The White House is backing off its plan to nominate Elizabeth Klein to be the deputy secretary of the Interior Department, marking the second nominee President Biden has been forced to backtrack on in just over two months in office…

A spokesperson for Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, told Fox News that the senator asked the White House to reconsider the Klein nomination due to her past stances on oil, gas and mineral development in Alaska.

We can thank Sen. Murkowski for nuking this second Biden nominee. According to her spokesperson, Murkowski grew concerned over Elizabeth Klein’s record on oil, gas, and mineral development in her own state.

There aren’t too many economic opportunities in Alaska, outside natural resource development and shooting bears (beautiful region as it is). Those good folks who live there rely on this industry to pay the bills.

But it seems Klein has a history of opposing the “resource development” of Murkowski’s state. This came when Klein worked for both Obama and Clinton. Ouch, talk about a double whammy of terrible.

We shouldn’t be all that surprised that Biden nominated a woman who hates our natural resources. Biden himself bowed to the leftist mob when he outlawed drilling for oil and gas on federal land (which crippled Nevada and New Mexico’s industries).

Not to mention how he killed the Keystone XL Pipeline project.

Why wouldn’t he nominate a woman who would seek to tank another state’s major industries?

With a moderate like Murkowski opposing this woman’s bid, the White House panicked. They withdrew her name, pretending like she was never really being considered. M-hm, we believe you, Joe.

The only question is what winner will be picked instead? Maybe someone that wants to end tourism in Florida?

Key Takeaways:

  • Joe Biden withdrew another cabinet nomination.
  • Murkowski opposed Elizabeth Klein over her record against Alaska.
  • Klein had previously opposed major industries that employed Alaskan natives.
