The Lamborghini Centenario is a fairly special thing. Concocted to celebrate what would have been the 100 birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, it comes not only with a 760bhp V12 – making it the most powerful road-going Lambo of the lot – but much technology.
Things like rear-wheel steering, bespoke Lamborghini telemetry and connectivity systems and an extreme aerodynamic setup, as well as much, much carbon. In fact, it’s something of a testbed for the tech we’ll see on less limited, less expensive Lamborghinis in the future.
Which, when we’re talking about a 40-off, £1.7million special edition, can only be a good thing. You’ll be very jammy to see one of these moving in real life, so click and watch the video above to see one at Italy’s Nardo test track.
Yes, we’d like a bit more screaming V12 in there. And some more testing exercises of its clever four-wheel steering than a few low-speed jinks around some cones. But hey, it’s a carbon supercar on track. Some footage is better than no footage, right?
