All these unpleasant symptoms can be caused due to inflamed sinuses, an inflammation that occurs due to frequent weather changes. It has similar symptoms like the migraine, which unlike the symptoms of inflamed sinuses in most cases create a feeling of nausea, vomiting, loss of balance and pain in only one part of the head.

Therefore, when diagnosing the type of headache, it is important to know that sinus inflammation does not necessarily mean that you suffer from migraines, but detecting it sometimes creates doubts that maybe you suffer from migraine even when it is not the case at all.

When it comes to migraine, then the treatment of this disease is usually with antirheumatics like vitamins B6 and C, and a small dose of medication to calm the nervous system, because the pain is stressful for the body and in such circumstances, you need something to soothe the tense nerves.

On the other hand, treatment of sinus usually implements antibiotics, but you can also take vitamin A, C and E, zinc and selenium, then nettle tea or chicken soup that soothes the clogged nasal cavity.

If the headache is not progressing, then warming that part of the head can have soothing effect. Take a shower with hot water, and do an inhalation with nettle tea on the sinuses. If you are going outside always wear a hat that covers the forehead. Acute headaches may disappear sooner than you expect.

Worth mentioning is the treatment haloteraphy – treatment in saline rooms, which is slowly becoming a hit worldwide. The favorable impact of aerosols and the effects that are achieved by inhalation is good not only for sinus and respiratory organs, but for the entire organism.

Symptoms of sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses)

The symptoms of sinusitis are nasal congestion, nasal discharge and pressure in the forehead, fever, fatigue and exhaustion, headache. Very often creates ”postnasal rags” or confluence of throat secretions. In severe cases, it can also be a pain in the ear or neck, toothache, loss of sense of smell and tears from the eyes.

The treatment is carried out with antibiotics, with decongestants (nasal drops), and painkillers. Inhalation is recommended, using salty liquid that is inserted into the nose (nasal drops of salty sea water), then air humidifiers and warm clothes should be placed on the painful areas. During acute infection, we recommend staying in a room with a stable temperature.
