  • 400 gr of onion
  • 2 tsp. of turmeric powder
  • 1l (4 cups) of water
  • 400gr (0.9 pounds) of honey or sugar
  • 1 inch of ginger root
  • Preparation:

Boil the water and sugar, but if you choose to use honey, add it at the very end. Chop the onions and grate the ginger. Add them to the solution, and once it starts boiling again, add the turmeric and continue to cook on low heat until the mixture is reduced by half. Remove from heat and strain. Pour the liquid in a glass jar, and once it cools, store it in the fridge.

Take two tablespoons of the remedy in the morning on an empty stomach, and another two in the evening before going to bed.
