Got cellulite? Don’t worry, you are not alone. Cellulite is common, this condition affects more than 90% of women at some point during their lives, sometimes even women who are slender and fit. But let’s make this clear, cellulite is natural and normal.

This cosmetic condition occurs when underlying fat deposits begin to push through layers of connective tissue under the skin, most often in the buttocks and thigh areas, but the arms and the stomach areas can be affected as well. If you ask a dermatologist or any kind of doctor, they will tell you that over 90% of women have cellulite.

There can be a few reasons and causes of why the connective tissue is weakened, like hormones, lack of exercise, excess fat, age and poor circulation.

Although cellulite can be frustrating, in terms of your overall health, there’s nothing wrong with having it. But, it’s understandable why most women want to get rid of it.

So, how do you get rid of cellulite? You can do regular massages on the affected areas, you absolutely need to drink more water and follow a balanced and healthy diet, but also you can do some exercises. Here we have a 2-week challenge for you, and easy 6 exercises we think you’ll like. And you can do these exercises at the comfort of your own home.

Best Exercises To get Rid Of Cellulite

Exercise No. 1

It’s very simple, lie down on your right side, and balance your weight with the help of your elbow. Bend your right leg, and lift your left leg about 10 inches of the floor, and hold this position for 3-5 seconds, then lower down slowly.

Repeat this exercises with the other leg. Do 3 sets, with 10-15 reps each!

Exercise No. 2

Position your body in a push-up position, bend your right leg and bring your knee to your stomach and core. Then slowly, straighten your leg back, and lift it 6-8 inches of the floor. Repeat the same with the other leg. Do 3 sets, 8-10 reps each.

Exercise No. 3

You’ll need a small dumbbell for this exercise. Stand straight with feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly lower your body by bending your knees, until you come parallel to the floor, or your knees are at 90 degrees angle. Hold for 5 seconds, then slowly raise your body up to your original position. Do 3 sets, 20 reps each.

Exercise No. 4

Stand straight with a dumbbell in your hands, with feet close to each other. Slowly bend your upper torso, while keeping you back straight, and arms hanging down freely. Bend forward down as much as you can, then slowly return to the original position. Do 5 sets, 10 reps each.

Exercise No. 5

Similar exercise like the exercise no. 2. This time stand on your knees and arms, like a cat.

Then slowly lift one leg up, with you knee bent like in your original position, while keeping your back straight. Be in this position for a few seconds, then return to your starting position. Repeat the same with the other leg. Do 2 sets, 15 reps each.

Exercise No. 6

Stand straight up with your feet slightly wider than your shoulders.

With your hands behind your head, bend your knees slightly, then jump in the air, throwing your arms and legs wide apart. Do 2 sets, 20 reps each.

Additional Tips!

Coffee Scrub

Coffee scrubs can also help to reduce cellulite. Massage and exfoliation benefit the skin by stimulating blood / lymph flow and the caffeine in the coffee has a tightening effect.

Combine 1/4 cup of coffee grounds, 3 tablespoons of sugar (brown or regular), 2-3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil. Combine all the ingredients to create a paste-like consistency and store it in a glass jar. Massage this mixture to the affected are for several minutes using firm pressure. You can use the coffee scrub 2-3 times a week.

Apple Cider Vinegar

You can use apple cider vinegar to get rid of cellulite. ACV contains potassium, minerals, magnesium and calcium. These chemical components can decrease cellulite, eliminates all the toxins, but also controls excess water around the thighs and stomach.

Dry Brushing

Dry brushing is an excellent way to stimulate blood circulation around your body. You can also brush off dead skins, and grow new cells on your skin. This is one of the cheapest methods to stimulate lymphatic drainage and remove build-ups from the toxins in the body.
