Sinus infections are extremely unpleasant, as they often cause intense pain. Also, the pressure which is building up in the head to the constant nasal drip can cause a sore throat and fever.

However, instead of using some of the commercial solutions and pharmaceuticals to soothe the symptoms, you can try the following natural ways to treat the sinus infection:

Technique A: Try A Mini-Massage

With a firm finger, you should press against the notch (round part) of the collarbone and thus stimulate the flow of the stuffed-up mucus. Your ears will unpop and open completely!

Another way is to cross the hands into a “V” shape and pump the sides of the neck. In this way, you will stimulate the body into moving its lymph fluid and clearing the sinus pressure!

The following video will demonstrate you how to perform these massages:

Technique B: Apply Pressure On Your Eyebrows

This is a simple way to release the sinus pressure. Just apply equal pressure incrementally across your eyebrows, by placing the fingers at the “beginning” of each brow.

Then, tilt the face forward and rest the head in your hands. Your elbows should be on a flat surface. As soon as you feel the shift of the sinus pressure, move onto the middle part of the brows.

Hold until you feel the same pressure again, and then press the ends of the brows. Next, move the fingers in circular motion. This will provide instant relief!

Technique C: Use Your Tongue

You can clear the backed up sinuses using the finger and the tongue as well. Press the tongue on the roof of your mouth hard and press the finger on the skin between your eyebrows at the same time.

Hold for 15-20 seconds in order to stimulate the flow of mucus out of your head. If you have not loosened the mucus entirely, you should alternate between pressing the roof of your mouth and the skin between the eyebrows for 10 seconds each!
