As new cannabis products pop up all over North America, health companies elsewhere in the world have also hopped on the marijuana train.
One of the most humble and exciting new product is a calming Cannabis milk product named “Relax”.
Produced by the London-based company “Rawligion” claims to help soothe anxiety, relieves pain, stress, and also serve as a sleep aid. The milk, as well as all their products, is vegan, handmade and only available in small batches .
This organic milk is made with hemp seeds, cashews, dates, coconut oil, vanilla, and alkaline water. It also contains a bit of CBD oil, which supplies most of its health benefits.
Hemp and cashew supply a great quantity of protein, but that’s just the beginning.
Hemp contains heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and hormone-balancing gamma linolenic acid .
The might seed also contains all 20 amino acids as well as all nine essential amino acids as well as countless other nutrients.
Michael Isted , Rawligion’s development consultant says that you won’t have to worry about getting a buzz from the product. That’s because it doesn’t contain THC. At most, it promotes a feeling of relaxation and well-being.
“It’s used for a multitude of different health issues,” he says, “including anxiety, cancer (particularly the side effects of conventional treatments), pain relief, depression and sleep disorders.”
Studies have shown that cannabis juice and cannabidiol have a positive effect on pain, inflammation, nausea, seizures.
“The cannabis plant is almost the perfect plant – humans are supposed to have a relationship with this plant because we have cannabinoid receptors all over our body,” says Michael, who first suggested the product to Rawligion.
The milk can be purchased both in-store and online, but it’s only available to residents living in central London.
If you happen to live in London or if you pass through, give it a try. The milk tastes very similar to almond milk, although it’s slightly earthier.
And Rawligion’s founder John Taba claims that many of the customers who’ve given it a try reported feeling calm and tranquil.
If you can’t make it out there, try cannabis milk at home with the following recipe. If you’re vegan, replace the cow’s milk with coconut milk or hemp milk.
