Many believe these new rules jeopardized the integrity of our election. What’s Happening: Did you think Joe Biden would suddenly become coherent, post-Election? Sure, he was able to hide in his basement during the campaign. But if he does become president, there’s no hiding him, and any problems he might have been able to conceal. While the election battle continues to be fought in the courts, Biden is trying to act like the “president-elect.” But it’s not going well. He tried to give a speech recently. Both presidential candidates receive donations from big corporations, of course. But Democratic nominee Joe Biden has often touted his smaller-dollar donations and his “everyday Joe” image. Even so, Biden has received his fair share of big-money assistance from major corporations — though this might reflect poorly on his campaign when a corporation gets hit with a scandal. Take Goldman Sachs, for example. One of the world’s most powerful banking companies has executives who have donated to Biden’s campaign. But it also seems this corporation has been involved in shady dealings overseas. And that’s precisely the sort of negative press Biden can do without, just 9 days before the election. Rand Paul claims that the 2020 election, “in many ways was stolen” and that “fraud happened.” “We can’t just say it didn’t happen. We can’t just say 4,000 people voted in Nevada that were noncitizens and we’re just going to ignore it, we’re going to sweep it under the rug and say oh, the courts have decided the facts. What’s Happening: Deep staters should be growing pretty worried right about now. Trump and his team are facing the possibility of losing a second term and they are not going to let real investigations get shuttered. One important investigation—a criminal investigation—has been going on for years. It concerns what the FBI and other agencies did in 2016 and 2017. President Trump has said that a special counsel should be appointed so that the work can continue, regardless of who is in the White House.   What’s Happening: The media continues to push their declaration that Joe Biden won the election. They ignore real concerns of irregularities in many states. (And that’s just for starters.) What’s Happening: Who will end up in the White House next year is still a raging battle. But Joe Biden has made it clear that if he’s president, he will undo much of what Trump’s done for America. Joe Biden remains adamant that his son Hunter Biden not only has done nothing wrong in his sketchy overseas business dealings with a Chinese energy firm, but also that he knew nothing about it and never discussed business with his son. One might logically ask; how can the elder Biden be “confident” his son did nothing wrong while at the same time have zero information because they never spoke about it? (more…)
